Flirting while in a relationship?

So ive been with my girlfriend for a year, on and off
and ive always been faithful. but about a month ago i started talking to a girl who lived near me and knew some people i knew, We didnt meet untill last weekend.. The minute i left, she text me telling me she really liked me, and i dont even know why but i told her i liked her too. I havent seen her since but we have continued to flirt through texting, She keeps telling me she has never met someone like me and that im beautiful and amazing.. She even asked me out and i had to make up an excuse because obviously i have a girlfriend XS So i dont know what to do.. i know what im doing is wrong but i cant all of a sudden tell her that infact i have a girlfriend and cant get with her, I dont want to upset anyone.. ahhh

Why would lying be less upsetting than telling someone the truth? She is probably lying to you so you won't get upset.

We all do it in reality. I\'m not condoning it but it\'s true. As long as you don\'t step over the line nothing to feel bad about we\'re all human, it\'s natural in a way.
