Why do people flirt a lot when drunk?

I know I personally flirt A LOT I see when I'm drunk. I seem to go around and randomly ask some of the women if they had boyfriends and tell them how beautiful they are.

Alcohol just makes you relax and lower your guard. Sometimes this is a good thing and sometimes it is not. If you wake up in the morning next to a woman that you thought looked hot when you were drunk and now is ugly when you are sober.

Psychologically, it effects the part of your brain that would normally tell you not to do something because it would have negative consequences (with your job, friends, physically, emotionally, etc)... It turns it off or just down so you can have some fun haha it can be a good thing if you know how to keep yourself from crossin the line.

alcohol lowers social inhibitions. very useful to the socially awkward. don't over do it and it serves a useful purpose. a tool to assist virgins to become fully functional adults.
